- Cheryl worked for the International Conference of Building Officials for 18 years as a Senior Corporate Vice-President prior to making a career change into real estate. This job required Cheryl to travel regularly and resulted in her being away from her family often. Her friends suggested that she try real estate because she had the traits of a great real estate agent. With her great people skills and structured work habits, she has been a very successful realtor since she started in 2004.
- Joe was employed at Progressive Controls working with automation and marketing systems for 15 years before switching to a real estate career. At the time, his company was in the midst of moving out of the area making Joe’s commute impossible. It was then that Cheryl suggested to Joe that they become a team in real estate. Joe made the move in 2005 and they have been known as “The Melendez Team” since then and have conquered the real estate industry together.
